I was born in the scenic town of Magadan in eastern Russia. My family and I immigrated to Toronto Canada, where we learned English and the “western” way of life. After 3 short years which felt like a lifetime, we picked up and moved an hour and a half south to Buffalo New York. The east coast definitely offered a charm unlike anywhere else in the country. As our time in Buffalo came to a close, fate or destiny or an airplane brought us to sunny St. George Utah. I remember being confused by the red dirt mountains and the Spanish style homes everyone seemed to live in. The kindness and hospitality of the people in this small retirement town did not go unnoticed. From my time there, I have taken with me the importance of kindness and acceptance. Through more twists and turns, I ended up at the University of Utah, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a business emphasis. Throughout my life, I have always known that I am meant to be around people and the perfect career for me would include problem-solving and working face to face with people. Cue real estate.
As a real estate professional, I believe that everyone should be treated equally. Whether you’re buying a small piece of land or a mansion, each transaction should be handled with honesty, integrity, loyalty and care. These are not only guidelines for the way I conduct my business, but also a part of my daily life. I always strive to communicate in a clear and concise manner ensuring everyone is on the same page throughout the transaction. The best part of real estate is that it’s not just a job or career; it’s a way of life. Some of my favorite transactions have been with people who wished they could own a home but never dreamed that they really could. Handing over the keys to their new dream home is what propels me to work even harder. In a nutshell, I love my career!
